University of Northampton

BA (Hons) Games Art • September 2015-July 2018

 

The Games Art course at Northampton is an introduction to the creative  and visual aspects of the gaming industry, giving a wider experience of the key points in the creative process, from storyboarding to character and environment design. Also, with a focus on the whole life cycle of game production from the initial ideas process to final release stage, working with programmers from the BSc Computer Games Development course, practicing team working and games development in real-scenario for specific markets in 2D and 3D formats.

 

 

Year 2

 

 

  • Visual Studies : A

 

    • Practice digital art and drawing skills, with professional briefs and research, integrate and apply established working practices, concepts and principles within a creative setting and also to work to deadlines.

 

  • 3D Modelling - Technical Art : B+

 

    • The main aim of the module is the further development of skills in digital content creation for games. Experiencing in production and optimisation of digital assets for use in game engines. Intentionally prescriptive, the module is designed through series of technique and skill building exercises. Digital content creation tools will be typically used in context of commercial game engine.

 

  • 3D Organic Modelling : A

 

    • The objective of this module is learning of core skills in 3D organic software for games and game engines. Showcasing series of technique and skill building exercises, that are standard from the industry.

 

  • Group Project : B

 

    • This module integrates and draws together the various technical and applied aspects of the programme gained during the studies. Which is designed specifically to develop creative design, teamwork and presentation skills within the context of a substantial computing team project. The module is designed to further develop higher order intellectual skills (problem solving and reflection) and appropriate personal qualities including multidisciplinary working. Each group will design, develop and document effective, robust and high quality 3D video game to a professional standard in response to a supplied specification of requirements.

 

 

Liceo Artistico Angelo Frattini

Maturità Graphic Art (EQF Level 4) • September 2011-July 2015 • Score : 83/100

 

Based on the provincial art college of Varese, Italy. This course is characterized by its inclination to design, graphics and experimental aspects of figurative art. It offers multidisciplinary cultural education and a specialized graphics and photographic training. In particular, it addresses the commercial design of photography and the design of communication. They deal with themes relating to the rules of graphic design languages. Also, basis to drawing and anatomy are given.

Testing an exclusive alpha of the game dedicated to new players that have never tried the game. Completed specified QA goals and give feedback about the game via e-mails and surveys, and working with the community manager.

An exclusive panel of students that works directly with Adobe to help shape the Adobe Students strategy. Testing internal products, deliver workshops to students and help them with on-site support.

 

Adobe Community Professional

Adobe • August 2017 - present

 

Adobe Community Professional are creative experts and they are extremely knowledgeable about Adobe Products. They volunteer their time engaging with anyone who comes to Adobe forums to ask questions and learn more about how to be successful. They also provide a valuable feedback channel to Adobe's product teams and are part of the ACP community of like-minded peers with their own private community area to collaborate and discuss creative topics with one another.

About Me¬

 

I love being an "all-field" game artist but I feel that my way is mastering the art of environments and concepts. Still, I like to experiment everything, from concept art to 3D environments, digital sculpting to graphic design. I enjoy games dev conferences and game jams, both on-site or online! I'm really enthusiast learning something new and if I someone will teach me a new software or techniques, you will be surprised to see how fast I could learn.
